I wouldn't say I'm exceptional at anything, least of all writing. I'm not the perfect wife, definitely not the perfect mother, and certainly not a perfect person. The photos of me on this website were taken when I was pregnant with my love child—nine years ago! (Thrifty, and decidedly not perfect.) I'm just an American mom who fancies herself a decent conversationalist, with a few thoughts on how we can create a healthier society.
